B8 eliminated from IEM Kraków 2026 after loss to paiN

Ukrainian squad B8 have been knocked out of IEM Kraków 2026 after a 0–2 loss to paiN in the Stage 1 lower bracket. With this victory, the Brazilian side advances to the final decisive match for a spot in the next stage.

The first map was closely contested and went to overtime, where paiN secured a 16–12 win. On the second map, B8 tried to mount a comeback, but the Brazilians once again converted the key rounds and closed the series with a 13–10 victory.

paiN remain in contention for a Stage 2 slot, while B8 exit the tournament after Stage 1.

Meanwhile, BLAST has opened applications for cities interested in hosting future events organized by the tournament operator.
