BaiSha Gaming's Triumph: CrossFire Tournament Results at the Esports World Cup 2026

A massive offline CrossFire tournament as part of the Esports World Cup 2026 concluded in Paris, taking place from August 18th to 22nd. Sixteen of the world's best teams competed for the prestigious title and a total prize pool of $2,000,000 USD. The organizers of this S-Tier championship were Esports Foundation, Smilegate, and Hero Esports.

BaiSha Gaming became the absolute champion of the competition. In the decisive grand final, they confidently crushed Team Liquid with a score of 3:0. For the victory, the team received the main prize of $750,000, 1,000 club points, and also secured an extra qualification slot for their region at the upcoming CFS 2026 tournament. Silver medalists Team Liquid earned $350,000, while KINGZERO-eSports claimed bronze and $210,000 by defeating Team Stallions (3:0).

Natus Vincere ended their run in the playoff quarterfinals, losing to future finalists Team Liquid with a score of 0:2. Ultimately, NAVI finished in 5th–8th place, earning $75,000 in prize money and 200 club points (ROC Esports, Team Vitality, and AG.AL International shared the same result, stopping at the quarterfinal stage).

The Chinese esports athlete playing under the nickname N9 from BaiSha Gaming was named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the tournament, receiving an additional individual award of $25,000.

The tournament format included a group stage (two groups of 8 teams in a GSL Bo3 format, from which the top 4 advanced to the playoffs) and a Single-Elimination bracket (Bo3 quarterfinals, and Bo5 semifinals and finals). A total of 81 players participated in the tournament, with China leading in national representation (31%), followed by Vietnam (20%), Brazil (19%), and Egypt (16%).
