Battlefield 6 Season 5, titled Siege of Vegas, launches on October 13, 2026. The update will introduce two new maps, four weapons, the Rapid Royale mode and additional content. EA has also outlined further releases planned for November and December.
At launch, players will get access to Vegas Strip and Area 51, alongside four new weapons: the Mk 24 Assault Rifle, RSPR Submachine Gun, Z84M Light Machine Gun and ELR-40 Bolt-Action Sniper Rifle.

The ELR-40 is designed for extreme long-range engagements, with EA promising the best bullet drag performance and the furthest sweet spot in its weapon archetype. The RSPR combines SMG handling with rifle-like characteristics, while the Z84M features a 100-round box magazine.

On October 13, REDSEC will also receive Rapid Royale, a faster Battle Royale experience available in Trios and Solos. A new ranked Battle Royale season will begin, and Multiplayer will introduce leaderboards. A Full Game Trial will run from October 15 to 19.

The Casino Heist Update arrives on November 10, bringing the new infantry-focused European Casino map and a limited-time Casino Heist event. The roadmap also teases a new Carbine, gadget and vehicle.
On December 8, the Frozen Aces update will introduce Operation High Roller and the B-81 Cavalry vehicle. Blackwell Fields and New Sobek City will receive updates based on community feedback. The long-requested Platoons and Server Browser features will also return, alongside a new Designated Marksman Rifle (DMR) and a melee weapon.
A Halloween crossover event featuring Dead Space is also planned. Called Convergence, it is described as «a dark discovery beneath Area 51».

However, Season 5 will also mark the departure of Gauntlet, which will leave Battlefield 6 when the new season launches.
