Bungie has published a statement titled “The Next Chapter for Bungie”, in which the studio’s leadership outlined plans for its key franchises and discussed changes to its development approach. The statement was signed by new CEO Pete Parsons, game director Tyson Green, and other members of Bungie’s leadership team.
Bungie openly acknowledged mistakes from recent years that disappointed parts of its community. The studio said it wants to rebuild players’ trust through greater transparency, improved product quality, and stronger accountability.
Destiny remains one of the main pillars of Bungie’s future. The studio has already begun work on bringing back content that was previously removed from Destiny 2 and placed in the Content Vault.

The Red War, Curse of Osiris, Warmind, and Forsaken campaigns are planned to return over time, along with locations such as Io, Titan, Mercury, and Mars. Bungie also intends to bring back classic raids, including Leviathan, as well as other activities that were previously removed from the game.
At the same time, Bungie shared new details about the future of Marathon. Ahead of the game’s first anniversary in March 2027, the developers plan to expand its combat system and world while giving players more ways to play, including cooperative PvE, traditional competitive PvP, and a hybrid PvPvE mode.
As a Reminder, The Witcher universe will get a new novel about Geralt in 2027.
