In the upcoming Season 6 of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, a new melee weapon will arrive — the Arcblade, which will be one of the final additions for multiplayer and Zombies mode. Since the weapon will not be available right on the update's launch day, the developers have provided two options to unlock it.
The main way to obtain the Arcblade for free will be the Camo Costume Party in-game event, which is expected to launch during the first few weeks after the season begins (before early October). Players will be able to use any mode to complete challenges: multiplayer, Zombies, Endgame, and Warzone.
In addition to the Arcblade, event rewards will feature unique camos: Oozed, Undergrowth, Gray Matter, Zombie Mai Tai, Patchwork, as well as animated Gravebloom, Grubs, Malignant, and Death Row. The exact challenge requirements for unlocking the blade will be revealed when the event begins.
The second way to unlock the Arcblade is to purchase a bundle in the Black Ops 7 store featuring a blueprint for the weapon. Buying the bundle will automatically grant access to both the blueprint and the base version of the blade. The bundle's price and release date are currently unknown, but it is expected to drop shortly after the Camo Costume Party event begins.
The Arcblade will be available to unlock until the end of October, giving players enough time to complete the event before the release of Modern Warfare 4, scheduled for October 23. Along with the launch of Season 6, other new additions will also arrive in the game — the VMP submachine gun and the TR51 Para assault rifle.
