Analysts have identified which online games generate the highest number of Google searches for terms like aimbot, wallhack, cheat, and hack. Some of the findings may come as a surprise.

The study examined 15 popular multiplayer PC games and analyzed global average monthly search volumes for high intent cheating keywords combined with each game’s name. To better reflect community level interest, the data was standardized per 1,000 players.

1️⃣Call of Duty ranks first with 66 cheat related searches per 1,000 players, making it the clear leader in cheating interest among the analyzed titles.

2️⃣Second place goes to Rocket League with 59 searches per 1,000 players. Although the game is widely considered difficult to exploit due to its server authoritative physics, interest remains high. Researchers link this to the growing popularity of AI driven bots and predictive scripts.

3️⃣Third place is held by Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege with 53 searches per 1,000 players.

MOBA titles showed the lowest overall cheating interest, averaging just 0.3 searches per 1,000 players. By comparison, Action games average 40, Battle Royale 28, and Shooter games 23 searches per 1,000 players.

The analysis also highlights differences in anti cheat architecture. Games using kernel level anti cheat systems average 20 searches per 1,000 players, while those relying on user level protection average 35. According to Levvvel data, 338 games already implement kernel level anti cheat solutions, including Easy Anti Cheat by Epic Games, which is used in 155 popular titles.

Experts warn that high search volumes for cheats also represent a cybersecurity risk. Players often disable antivirus software and grant elevated permissions to such tools, creating opportunities for malware distribution and personal data theft.
