The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 beta will make series history by bringing multiplayer, campaign content and Call of Duty: Warzone together in a single test. Early access will begin on August 21 immediately after the Call of Duty Next presentation and run through August 25 for players who pre order the game.
The beta will feature five new 6v6 multiplayer maps, the Kill Block mode, several online modes and a playable campaign mission called «Entrenched». The mission takes place during North Korea’s invasion of South Korea and follows a squad of South Korean Marines accompanied by an American serviceman.

The open beta will run from August 28 through September 1 across all platforms. During the second weekend, players will also gain access to the new Warzone Resurgence map Zodiac, additional Ground War locations, as well as more multiplayer maps and modes.
This makes Modern Warfare 4 the first Call of Duty game to include multiplayer, a portion of its campaign and Warzone in the same beta test. Infinity Ward has not yet explained why it decided to expand the beta with so much content.
