Canadian company Edison Motors has announced a temporary suspension of its operations on November 19–20, 2026. The reason behind the shutdown is the release of the highly anticipated video game GTA VI.
The corresponding internal directive was signed by the company's CEO, Chase Barber. After reviewing a large number of vacation requests, productivity forecasts, and what was described as an "unusually high level of excitement" among employees, Edison Motors' management concluded that normal business operations would be significantly disrupted regardless.
