The version of Counter-Strike that was removed after the official release of CS2 has returned to Steam. It doesn’t currently have a separate store page, but you can still download it independently from CS2.
Users report that, for now, it’s only possible to play with bots and not even connect with friends. However, there are rumors that some public servers are also functioning.
The reason for this return remains unknown, but it’s certainly good news for fans of the legendary game.
