Following the conclusion of the seven-week Esports World Cup 2026 in Paris, Esports Foundation CEO Ralf Reichert revealed the first details for the 2027 competition. The return of over a dozen games featured at this year's event has already been officially confirmed.

The upcoming lineup is built on multi-year agreements with major publishers, including Activision Blizzard, Riot Games, Electronic Arts, Tencent, MOONTON, Capcom, and KRAFTON. Separate agreements are also in place with Epic Games (a three-year deal covering Fortnite and Rocket League) and Ubisoft (Trackmania).

  • Shooters & Battle Royales: Call of Duty, Call of Duty: Warzone, Counter-Strike 2, CrossFire, Fortnite, PUBG, PUBG Mobile, VALORANT.
  • MOBAs & Auto Battlers: Dota 2, Honor of Kings, League of Legends, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (Men's and Women's tournaments), Teamfight Tactics.
  • Fighting, Sports & Other: Chess, EA SPORTS FC 27, Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, Rocket League, Street Fighter 6, Trackmania.

Counter-Strike 2, which drew one of the largest audiences at EWC 2026, has its tournament details already set. The competition will take place from July 16 to August 1, 2027, in Riyadh.

The return of several popular titles from this year's Cup remains unconfirmed. Games such as Apex Legends, Tekken 8, Overwatch 2, Rainbow Six, and Free Fire have not yet been announced; they could be added later or omitted entirely from next year's program.

So far, every discussed game was already part of EWC 2026. The Esports Foundation leadership has not made any public statements about introducing entirely new titles to the Cup, though future announcements remain a possibility.
