EVO Japan 2026 sets Guinness World Record with Street Fighter 6

EVO organizers have announced that the Street Fighter 6 tournament held as part of EVO Japan 2026 has been officially recognized by Guinness World Records. The event received the title of “largest tournament for a single fighting game.”

The event took place from May 1 to 3 at Tokyo Big Sight in the Koto district of Tokyo. A total of 7,168 players competed in the Street Fighter 6 discipline.

EVO General Manager Rick Thiher commented on the achievement: “We knew Evo Japan would break records, but it’s a huge honor to receive recognition from Guinness World Records. This is a true testament to the passion of the fighting game community across all our titles, and especially for Street Fighter 6.”

Recall that Harley-Davidson will appear in PUBG and PUBG MOBILE.
