South Korea’s Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs has announced the appointment of legendary esports player Lee Sang-hyeok, better known as Faker, as an honorary ambassador for Korean food culture in the Chinese-speaking market.

The announcement was made during a press conference by Minister Song Mi-ryung. According to her, the South Korean government is launching a large-scale international campaign aimed at promoting Korean cuisine and food culture worldwide.

The initiative is part of the country's broader effort to strengthen the global presence of Korean cultural exports and increase awareness of traditional Korean food among international audiences.

As a reminder, Call of Duty: Warzone will discontinue support for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One later this year.
