Falcons defeated Spirit in the semifinals of IEM Cologne Major 2026 in CS2 to secure a place in the tournament's grand final.
The Saudi organization started the series with a victory on their map pick, Anubis, edging out Spirit 16:14. Spirit responded on Mirage, claiming a 13:8 win to level the series.
The decisive map was Dust2, where Falcons started on the T side and trailed 5:7 at halftime. The second half mirrored the first, sending the match into overtime. In the extra rounds, Falcons looked fully energized and managed to close out the map 16:12.
Tomorrow, June 21, Falcons will face FURIA in the grand final of the tournament.
IEM Cologne Major 2026 is taking place from June 2 to June 21 in Cologne, Germany. The tournament features a prize pool of $1.25 million.
