A fan made website called Kingdom Compare lets players compare locations from Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 with their modern day real world counterparts.

Warhorse Studios, the developer behind the acclaimed medieval RPG, recently highlighted the unusual project. Using 360° panoramas, Kingdom Compare allows users to explore Bohemia and see how historical locations recreated in the game look today.

To create each comparison, the project’s creator captures a real 360° panorama at the location and then recreates the same viewpoint in the game before aligning the two images. Since Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 uses a compressed version of the real geography, some locations may not line up perfectly.

At the moment, the website offers an overview of Kuttenberg. More locations are planned for future updates, including the Trotsky and Sasau regions.

Kingdom Compare also includes an interactive map that lets visitors jump directly to individual locations and view their real world and in game comparisons.

The project is being expanded with additional locations and offers an interesting way to see how closely the developers recreated historical Bohemia as it may have looked around 600 years ago.
