Bellring Games and publisher Skystone Games continue to expand the audience of Mistfall Hunter following its late July launch. Instead of a traditional extraction shooter, the developers introduced a dark fantasy action RPG inspired by the style of Dark Souls. The studio describes the project as a Dark Fantasy Extraction ARPG.
Players can explore the game's dangerous world either solo or in teams of up to three. Expeditions revolve around battling monsters and rival players while searching hostile environments for valuable loot and rare artifacts.
Although Mistfall Hunter received mixed reviews on Steam, it has managed to build a solid player base. The game's peak concurrent player count during its first week exceeded 44,000. Bellring Games has now announced that Mistfall Hunter has surpassed one million players across all available platforms, including PC, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox Cloud Gaming.
To celebrate the milestone, the studio unveiled its Season 1 roadmap. Upcoming updates will introduce new challenges, enemies, and rewards tied to limited time events. Season 2 is expected to deliver larger gameplay changes, including themed content, a revamped progression system, as well as continued balance improvements and stability updates.
Mistfall Hunter is currently available on Steam with a 10% discount until August 12. In Ukraine, the Standard Edition is priced at 477 UAH.
