The Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) has launched a tender process aimed at identifying commercial promoters and organizers for esports championships held under its banner. The public tender is intended to attract long-term operational partners to support the federation’s global strategy in sim racing and digital motorsport.

By creating a regulated and accessible competition ecosystem, the FIA aims to expand international participation in motorsport and establish sustainable pathways for drivers to transition from virtual racing to real-world competition.

Interested operators must submit their official documentation by August 17, 2026. All proposals must include a detailed championship concept, including:

  • the overall tournament format and its geographical scope;
  • technical venues for hosting live finals;
  • a long-term commercial strategy.

As a reminder, Gabe Newell purchased a luxury mansion in Florida for $70.8 million.
