Netflix has unveiled new stills and details for the second season of its anime series Devil May Cry, based on the культ classic gaming franchise from Capcom. The upcoming season will focus heavily on the arrival of one of the series’ most important characters — Vergil.
Series creator Adi Shankar confirmed that Dante’s twin brother will play a key role. In Season 2, viewers will finally witness their long-awaited reunion and confrontation. Dante will once again be voiced by Johnny Yong Bosch, while Vergil will be portrayed by Robbie Daymond.
The second season premieres on Netflix on May 12, 2026.
