Formula 1 has announced the return of the F1 Sim Racing World Championship in 2026. The season will begin with an opening event at DreamHack Birmingham, which will take place from March 27 to March 29.
The first three rounds of the championship will be held live on the DreamHack stage at the NEC Birmingham exhibition center. After that, the tournament will move to its new permanent base in a newly built multi-purpose studio located at Formula 1’s Media and Technology Centre in Biggin Hill.

Teams will compete for a total prize pool of $750,000. The official game of the championship will once again be the racing simulator series developed by EA Sports and Codemasters.
A dedicated F1 Sim Racing fan zone will be available at DreamHack Birmingham. Visitors will be able to try the simulators themselves and experience the atmosphere of a virtual racing paddock.
Reminder: Vitality are advancing through the upper bracket, while NIP are close to elimination at BLAST Open Rotterdam 2026.
