G2 Esports claimed victory in the grand final of LEC 2026 Spring for League of Legends. In the tournament's decisive match, they faced Karmine Corp and secured a 3–2 win.
G2 enjoyed a strong playoff run. They first defeated Karmine Corp 3–1 in the upper-bracket semifinal, then overcame Movistar KOI 3–2 in the upper-bracket final to advance directly to the grand final.
Karmine Corp reached the grand final through the lower bracket. After their opening loss to G2, they defeated Natus Vincere 3–1, swept GIANTX 3–0, and then beat Movistar KOI 3–0.
Both grand finalists qualified for the 2026 Mid-Season Invitational. G2 also secured a spot at the Esports World Cup 2026, but since they had already qualified through a previous route, the additional slot was awarded to Movistar KOI.
As a reminder, Natus Vincere finished seventh at the PUBG Global Series 2026 Circuit 2 – Series Final.
