Following a packed schedule of major gaming events including State of Play, Summer Game Fest, Xbox Games Showcase, and Nintendo Direct, analytics firm LevelUp has revealed which announcements generated the most attention from players and the gaming press.
The ranking was based on trailer views, media coverage, and social media engagement. According to the report, God of War Laufey emerged as the clear winner. The God of War spin off focused on Kratos' wife Laufey, unveiled during State of Play, attracted more engagement than any other reveal from the June showcases. At the same time, it became one of the most divisive announcements due to its shift in protagonist and storytelling focus, while the talking Cube continues to spark debate among fans.

The remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time secured second place, followed by Resident Evil Veronica in third. Marvel's Wolverine and Gears of War: E-Day completed the top five most discussed games.

The remainder of the top ten included Kingdom Hearts IV, Persona 6, Final Fantasy VII Revelation, Spyro: A Realm Reborn, and Until Dawn 2, which narrowly claimed the final spot in the ranking.
