Apex Legends will feature a massive collaboration with the Godzilla universe. The giant monster will arrive in the Outlands and attack the Storm Point map, while players will be able to obtain themed cosmetic items and special weapons.
The Apex Legends | Godzilla event will run from November 10 to December 1, 2026. It is being held to coincide with the release of the franchise's new film Godzilla Minus Zero.
During the event, Storm Point will suffer massive destruction. Damaged buildings, burnt trees, fallen structures, and other traces of Godzilla's attack will appear across the map. The monster itself will loom above the map and periodically strike with its Heat Ray.
Players will be able to enter blast zones before Godzilla's strike. There, they will be able to find a special Care Package containing a modified Devotion, which will receive a Heat Ray attack. After hitting a target, the beam will track the enemy, allowing players to use Godzilla's power against other squads.
Alongside the collaboration, the developers will add a special Event Pass. Players will be able to complete challenges and earn rewards, including cosmetic items, event packs, crafting materials, and the themed Jet Jaguar skin for Octane.
The premium tier of the pass will cost 950 Apex Coins. Its rewards include the Ghidorah 1991 skin for Catalyst, the Gravity Beam Prowler legendary weapon skin, two Epic Apex Packs, and other cosmetic items.
The collaboration will also introduce the universal melee weapon Dorsal Dagger, inspired by Godzilla's dorsal plates. It can be obtained from themed event packs.
The developers have prepared 10 new Legend skins inspired by different versions of Godzilla and other monsters from the franchise.
They include Godzilla 2026 for Bloodhound, Mothra 2003 for Valkyrie, Godzilla 2016 for Wraith, Mechagodzilla 1974 for Pathfinder, Destoroyah for Mad Maggie, SpaceGodzilla for Loba, Godzilla 1995 for Horizon, Super Mechagodzilla 1993 for Revenant, Ghidorah 1991 for Catalyst, and Jet Jaguar for Octane.
In addition, players will receive 9 legendary weapon skins inspired by the Godzilla universe. They are designed for the Devotion, Hemlok, Rampage, C.A.R., Havoc, Longbow, Wingman, Prowler, and Sentinel.
From November 10 to 17, a Twitch Drops promotion will also be available. By watching Apex Legends streams on selected creators' channels for 30 minutes, players will be able to receive the Chibi Charmzilla weapon charm, while 60 minutes will reward the Mothra's Milestones tracker set.
To receive the rewards, players need to link their EA account to Twitch.
The Apex Legends | Godzilla event will start on November 10 and run until December 1, 2026.
