Publisher THQ Nordic has revealed when players will finally be able to experience the original Gothic trilogy on consoles.
Previously, the iconic RPG series was available only on PC. The fourth entry, Arcania Gothic 4, did release on consoles but was so poorly received that it was later detached from the series and is no longer considered part of the franchise. The company decided to release the games gradually.
The release schedule looks as follows:
Each title will be sold separately for €29.99.
While these versions are not marketed as remasters, the developers are adapting the games for modern platforms with higher resolution support, improved controls, and the full original content.
In addition, Gothic Remake is set to launch on June 5 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series. Players who pre-order it will receive the console version of the original Gothic for free.
As a Reminder, 20th Century Studios to adapt popular Roblox horror “99 Nights in the Forest”.
