More signs pointing to the release date of Sonic Frontiers Definitive Edition for Switch 2 have appeared online after physical copies were spotted in retail stores, including Walmart.
Users reported finding physical versions of Sonic Frontiers Definitive Edition in stores, but staff members reportedly said the items cannot be sold or displayed until June 23. This date also matches Sonic’s birthday and falls during the period when the franchise marks its 35th anniversary.
The Definitive Edition includes all previously released downloadable content, updates, and improvements added since the original launch of the game. The Switch 2 version is also expected to feature improved performance, enhanced visuals, and reduced loading times.
