Blizzard Entertainment is gearing up to host the Hearthstone Summer Championship 2026, which will serve as the final opportunity for esports players to earn spots at the Hearthstone World Championship at BlizzCon. Featuring a total prize pool of $50,000, the competition will run from July 31 to August 2.
The tournament will utilize a Best-of-5 Conquest format with bans, where each player submits four decks. During the group stage on July 31 (Groups A and B) and August 1 (Groups C and D), matches will follow a double-elimination bracket. On the final day, August 2, the top eight players will determine the champion in a single-elimination bracket.
A total of 16 players representing the Americas, EMEA, and APAC regions are competing in the event. Notable participants include April's Masters Tour Winter Championship 2026 winner Yu "Kwanwoo" Gwan-u, alongside experienced Grandmasters and Masters Tours veterans Kim "Che0nsu" Cheon-su and Kyle "McBanterFace" Spigelman.
The main stakes of the competition are three direct spots at the Hearthstone World Championship 2026. The tournament winner will claim $10,000, the runner-up $7,500, and the third-place finisher $5,000. The remaining prize pool will be distributed among the 4th through 16th-place finishers.
