Indonesia’s Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Team Reaches the 2026 Asian Games Grand Final

Indonesia’s Mobile Legends: Bang Bang national team has reached the grand final of the 2026 Asian Games, where it will face Myanmar for the gold medal. In the semifinals, Indonesia defeated Mongolia 2–0, securing at least a silver medal.

Indonesia began its tournament run in Group B. In their opening match, the team lost to Malaysia 0–2 but later defeated Saudi Arabia 2–0. With this result, Indonesia finished second in the group and advanced to the playoffs.

In the quarterfinals, Indonesia faced the Philippines, one of the strongest teams in the global MLBB scene. The Indonesians secured a 2–1 victory and advanced to the semifinals. There, the team faced Mongolia and confidently closed out the series with a 2–0 victory.

One of the defining features of Indonesia’s national team is that its starting five is made up almost entirely of players from Alter Ego Esports, one of the leading organizations in the Indonesian MLBB scene.

All five players representing Indonesia are currently part of Alter Ego’s MPL Indonesia roster:

• Syauki "Nino" Fauzan Sumarno — EXP Lane;
• Muhammad "Yazukee" Affan Wahyudi — Jungler;
• Dalvin "Hijumee" Ramadhana Putra — Mid Lane;
• Arifudin "Arfy" Dingarai Putra — Gold Lane;
• Alexander "alekk" Owen Marcetami Buhe — Roamer.

The team’s substitute is Albert "Alberttt" Nielsen Iskandar, who also plays as a jungler. Kenny "Xepher" Deo serves as the head coach, with Michael "Styx" Abraham as his assistant.

As a result, Indonesia has essentially brought Alter Ego’s roster to the Asian Games. The five players also have experience competing together at the highest level, as Nino, Yazukee, Hijumee, Arfy and alekk were part of Alter Ego’s roster at the M7 World Championship.

In the Asian Games final, Indonesia will face Myanmar, which also advanced to the decisive match of the tournament. The final will determine the first-ever MLBB champion at the Asian Games, as the discipline is making its debut in the competition’s program.

For Indonesia, this is an opportunity to finish the tournament with a gold medal after victories over the Philippines and Mongolia in the playoffs. Myanmar, meanwhile, will look to claim the historic title for itself.

The grand final will take place on October 1. The gold medal of the Asian Games in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang will be at stake.
