Basically, a simple question, but again, what are you feeling right now? Are you happy, exhausted, tired, or both?
I'm happy and tired. Yeah, we are happy, but of course a bit tired. I want to chill a bit, and then we discuss, we wait for the second grand-final, and yeah.
Did you feel a lot of pressure during this match, specifically against FURIA? Because the fans, the atmosphere was like electric.
Yeah, atmosphere was pretty good, I enjoyed it, to be honest. Even though when we were losing rounds, I was just watching the FURIA fans and how they like scream or, you know, dance. It was funny for me. I think I was mentally pretty fine. I was not getting that much frustrated or having pressure from the crowd, so it was pretty fine for me.
Why do you think you're not feeling big pressure?
I don't know, I speak for myself. Till now I didn't have any kind of pressure. Of course, there are more thoughts that you have, for example, on T-side you might think twice what to do or something when it's a very important round. But for me, I grew up always like this and I don't feel too much inside of me. My emotions are dead, I think (laughs). But when we play in the final, it's like more people, so we will see, maybe there something could change.
But you're a chill guy.
Yeah, I'm chill.
You were very solid against such a powerful team as FURIA. Did you think that the match will end like this? In you point of view.
To be honest, we knew that FURIA will leave Ancient, they want to play Ancient against us. And we saw how they play. If I want to be honest, I thought we're gonna close this game 2-0, because I was very confident how they play. I was very confident that we might close this game 2-0. But I also knew that Nuke is shaky for us. And the decider map, I thought it's gonna be more like a random for both teams, like who will do maybe some small mistakes will lose the game, and the team who will get momentum crowd will cheer and they could win it. So, yeah.
Why is Nuke still a bit shaky for you? What are the main problems right now?
Before we had a pretty decent Nuke. I think our main problem is on CT-side. We still don't understand the rotations and how to do things correctly. We just struggle a bit in rotations, and hopefully for tomorrow, I think whoever we play, they're gonna pick it.
It looks likfe FUT is living in a dream right now. Do you want this dream to continue till you lift the trophy tomorrow?
Of course it will be amazing to lift the trophy. But for me, it's like not something very unexpected that we are in the final. We were working pretty hard, and we know that if we play our game, and if everyone feels confident and comfortable, we can manage to beat very good teams. So for me it's not a surprise that we are here, but of course it will be amazing to win.
Final question: against who do you want to play tomorrow?
If I say I want to play against Spirit, of course I'm not telling the truth, because donk is playing pretty insane in this event. For me he is like the best player by far. Of course, it would be more fair for us to play Legacy, but even if we play Spirit, for us it's fine.
Thank you so much.
Now FUT have just one final step to take. In the final, they will face Legacy or Spirit, and on August 23 the team will have a chance to lift the EWC 2026 trophy.
Will FUT’s sensational run turn into a championship story? We will find out in the Grand Final.
