Korea e-Sports Association (KeSPA) and Esports Foundation have officially announced the resolution of their disagreements and the continuation of their partnership. The agreement confirms the participation of South Korea’s national team in the upcoming Esports Nations Cup 2026.
Players and coaches representing the country will compete under the unified official banner “Team Korea of Esports.” Both parties emphasized that the roster selection process will follow principles of professional integrity, with strict adherence to tournament regulations and international competitive standards.
The conflict stemmed from disputes regarding the procedure for forming the national team. The main disagreements involved ensuring professional integrity during the selection of players and coaches.
Esports Nations Cup 2026 is scheduled for November 2026 and will take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
