Japanese company Konami has unveiled a new promotional video for its free-to-play football simulator eFootball. The star of the new television commercial, titled “JUST WATCHING?”, is long-time franchise ambassador and football legend Lionel Messi.
The new campaign encourages fans to take the initiative and create their own memorable football moments using mobile devices or gaming consoles. Konami’s message is clear: “Stop just watching — take control of the game yourself.”
As a reminder, Jules Koundé recently surprised fans by bringing an original PlayStation with him to the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
