A new crossover between World of Warcraft and Dungeons & Dragons may have been revealed ahead of Gen Con 2026 after promotional material briefly appeared on Roll20 for an unannounced product.

According to EN World, Roll20 temporarily listed a preorder page for a project titled D&D World of Warcraft. The page featured branding from both franchises along with the tagline "Roll for Azeroth." Although the listing was quickly removed, screenshots spread across the tabletop RPG community before it disappeared.

Neither Blizzard nor Wizards of the Coast has officially confirmed the project. However, the preorder wording and the Roll20 listing suggest it could be a new Dungeons & Dragons sourcebook or campaign setting.

World of Warcraft has a long history with tabletop RPGs. Warcraft: The Roleplaying Game launched in 2003 using D&D's third edition, followed by World of Warcraft: The Roleplaying Game in 2005, which adapted Azeroth's races, classes, factions, monsters, and magic to the 3.5 ruleset. Neither title was published by Wizards of the Coast, and both predate the current Fifth Edition of Dungeons & Dragons.

If the leak proves accurate, the new release could introduce playable races such as Night Elves, Draenei, and the Forsaken, while bringing iconic locations including Stormwind, Orgrimmar, Northrend, and the Dragon Isles into D&D. With more than 20 years of established lore, Azeroth offers plenty of material for tabletop adventures.

The reported collaboration would also fit Wizards of the Coast's broader strategy of expanding Dungeons & Dragons through crossover projects. The tabletop RPG has previously collaborated with Stranger Things, Rick and Morty, and Minecraft, while Magic: The Gathering has crossed over with major gaming franchises such as Final Fantasy and Fallout.

More details may be revealed during the D&D Vision Keynote at Gen Con 2026 on July 30. If the World of Warcraft collaboration is real, that presentation is expected to be the most likely place for its official announcement.
