The European League of Legends Championship Series (LEC) has announced sanctions against esports organizations Karmine Corp and Movistar KOI, as well as player Joseph “Jojopyun” Pyun. The decision is linked to incidents and behavior involving representatives of the organizations during a traveling event held in Madrid last month.

According to the official EMEA Penalty Tracker, the sanctions for “behavior inconsistent with the status of an LEC team member” were approved on June 2, 2026. All issued warnings and financial penalties will remain in effect until June 1, 2027.

Penalties issued:

  • Movistar KOI — warning and €5,000 fine
  • Karmine Corp — warning and €5,000 fine
  • Jojopyun (Movistar KOI) — warning and €2,000 fine

The organizational fines are related to the overall conduct of both clubs and their CEOs — Kameto and Ibai Llanos — during the Madrid event.

In the individual case, Jojopyun was fined for using aggressive profanity directed at Karmine Corp during an official broadcast microphone moment between games.

Previously, it was reported that Oleksandr Usyk has been relaxing by playing Counter-Strike 2 after his victory over Rico Verhoeven.
