Lil Wayne to Join Fortnite on September 13: Skins, Items, and Tournament Details Revealed

Grammy Award-winning rapper Lil Wayne will officially join the Fortnite Icon Series. The collaboration debuts in the Item Shop on Sunday, September 13, at 3:00 AM Kyiv time. Insiders previously reported that the artist was supposed to headline Season 15 of Fortnite Festival, but Lil Tecca took his spot.

Players will have access to two outfit options: the rapper's classic shirtless look and a more restrained, formal-style version. The set items feature "YM" branding, short for the artist's Young Money record label. Since Lil Wayne is an avid skateboarder, his pickaxe and glider are styled accordingly.

Overall, the collaboration includes:

• 2 skins and 2 back blings;
• 2 emotes, 1 emoticon, 1 wrap, and 1 loading screen;
• 1 pickaxe and 1 glider;
• 3 Jam Tracks: "6 Foot 7 Foot", "A Milli", and "Lollipop".

On launch day, Epic Games will hold the Weezy Icon Cup in Battle Royale and Zero Build modes. Participants who earn at least 8 points will receive a themed emoticon. Top-placing players in their respective regions will win the Lil Wayne skin and back bling for free.
