The 10th annual Warhammer Skulls 2026 has taken place — the biggest celebration of video games set in the iconic Warhammer universe. To mark the occasion, a franchise-wide game sale has gone live across all major platforms.
The sequel to the popular turn-based tactics game is now available on Xbox. The developers released a launch trailer showcasing gameplay, cinematics, and storylines centered around the Necrons and the Adeptus Mechanicus factions.
The game also marks the first-ever appearance of the mysterious Votann faction in a Warhammer 40K title.
The developers showcased extended gameplay footage from the upcoming boomer shooter, featuring humorous banter between Nyra Veyrat and Malum Caedo. The game is scheduled to launch later this year.
Players will return to the roots of the RTS series with large-scale strategic gameplay. The title will feature four unique factions, including the Adeptus Mechanicus, appearing in the series for the first time.
The game is set to release on September 17, 2026.
A world premiere trailer for the sequel to Daemonhunters was unveiled during the showcase. This time, the Deathwatch will replace the Grey Knights as the main protagonists and will face multiple Xenos factions.
The game is currently in development for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, though no release date has been announced yet.
A brand-new stealth action side-scroller set in the Age of Sigmar universe was officially revealed. Players will take on the role of a Skaven assassin exploring the Mortal Realms.
