The S-Tier esports tournament, PUBG Mobile Global Open 2026 Season 2, will take place offline in Lahore, Pakistan, from October 20 to 25, 2026. This is an open international event where the best teams from national and regional tournaments of the second half of 2026 will compete, excluding representatives from China, Japan, South Korea, and India. The event is organized by KRAFTON, Level Infinite, StarLadder, and NODWIN Gaming.

The total prize pool for the competition is $500,000 USD. In addition to the cash prize, the tournament winner will earn 150 PMGC points. The organizers have also provided special individual awards in the following categories: Grand Finals MVP, Best IGL, Eagle Eye, Grenade Master, and Field Medic. The official device of the tournament is the Infinix GT 50 Pro smartphone, and the competition will be held in Squads TPP mode under the slogan "Mountain Yields, We Rise." Overall, Ukraine is represented at the tournament by 9 players, accounting for 6% of the total number of participants.

The tournament format is divided into three key stages:

• Group Stage (October 20-21): 32 teams will be divided into two groups of 16 participants. Each group will play 6 matches. The top 6 teams from each group advance directly to the Grand Finals, the 7th-14th placed teams move to the Survival Stage, and the bottom two teams of each group are eliminated.
• Survival Stage (October 22): 16 participating teams will play 6 matches. Only the top 4 teams will secure spots in the Grand Finals, while the rest are eliminated.
• Grand Finals (October 24-25): 16 finalists (12 from the Group Stage and 4 from the Survival Stage) will play a total of 13 matches: 6 matches on the first day and 7 matches on the second. A special "Smash Rule" will be applied on the final day of the competition.

The daily map rotation at the tournament consists of one game on Rondo, three games on Erangel, and two final matches on Miramar.

Among the tournament participants is the Ukrainian team Team NEXT, which qualified for the event by securing 2nd place in the Western Europe region finals (WEU Finals).

The team's main roster is as follows:

Right before the start of the tournament, the team faced roster changes. On October 15, player Cmetana replaced Razr (Ukraine), as the latter had issues obtaining a visa. An analyst from Germany under the nickname Winnie is working with the team.
