Marvel Rivals is preparing an ambitious content plan for all of 2026, culminating in the release of Avengers: Doomsday. At the offline Marvel Rivals Assemble event, the development team unveiled a new roadmap that effectively mirrors the logos of every Avengers film from the MCU.
The series of events kicks off as early as April with a limited-time mode dedicated to Loki.
Roadmap highlights:
- April: An event based on The Avengers (2012). This will be an asymmetric "1 vs. 6" mode where one player, controlling Loki empowered by an Infinity Stone, faces off against six other heroes. The mode will include references to the original film, Loki's movie costume, and the ability to "summon the Hulk" to recreate iconic scenes.
- June: An event inspired by Avengers: Age of Ultron.
- August: An event inspired by Avengers: Infinity War.
- October: An event inspired by Avengers: Endgame.
- December: The grand finale — new modes and events dedicated to the premiere of Avengers: Doomsday.
Fans are hoping that Thanos and Doctor Doom will make their way into the game before the year is out.
