Microsoft has begun testing a new Xbox Series X|S update with members of the Xbox Insider program. The update introduces additional customization options, social features, and energy-saving improvements.
One of the biggest additions is an updated My Games & Apps experience. Players can now display full-sized game artwork across their library, creating a more immersive browsing experience. The company has also streamlined wishlisting for upcoming releases. Players can now add unreleased games directly to their wishlist from the game's page before it becomes available for purchase.
Microsoft is continuing to expand its energy-saving features as well. Consoles set to Sleep mode can now switch to the Shutdown (energy saving) option, which reduces power consumption by up to 20 times while preserving performance, gameplay functionality, and overnight updates.
