Moonton has announced major changes to the Women’s Invitational (MWI) and Mid Season Cup (MSC) tournaments in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang ahead of the Esports World Cup 2026. The developers aim to use these two championships to open the door to the professional scene for even more players.
The Women’s Invitational (MWI) will undergo a rebrand and transform into a global event with qualifiers across more than 60 regions. Meanwhile, the Mid Season Cup (MSC) will expand the number of regions represented at the tournament.
MWI will feature a prize pool of $500,000 and is positioned as a premier opportunity for female players to compete at the highest level.
As for MSC, teams from India, Thailand, South Korea, and Western Europe will, for the first time, have dedicated qualification paths to the tournament.
As a reminder, FaZe recently announced the signing of Neityu.
