One of the longest tournaments of the year is still ongoing, and another day of play has come to an end today. We now know which teams are on the verge of elimination and which are just one match away from the playoffs.

Monte faced Legacy today but unfortunately lost the match. The series turned out to be fairly easy for the Brazilians, sending the Ukrainian club to the 0–2 pool.

NaVi played their match against G2 today and, despite having a good streak against this team and being slight favorites, they lost. Now G2 need just one more win to reach the playoffs, while NaVi drop to the 1–1 pool.

FUT Esports were close to repeating Monte’s fate and falling into the elimination pool as well, but they managed to win their match against Heroic 2–1 on maps, which places them in the 1–1 pool.

B8 have drawn another strong opponent for the second time in a row. Previously it was FURIA, and this time it was Spirit. They managed to overcome the former but couldn’t beat the latter. Although the first map went in favor of the Ukrainians, they lost the next two and, like NaVi, moved to the 1–1 pool.

All results:

The Mongolz 2:0 Aurora
Pain 2:1 Faze
G2 2:1 NaVi
Legacy 2:0 Monte
FUT 2:1 Heroic
MOUZ 2:1 Astralis
3DMAX 2:0 FURIA
Spirit 2:1 B8
