Unknown Worlds has announced that Subnautica 2 has officially surpassed 5 million wishlists across all platforms. The underwater survival game remains one of the most anticipated titles on Steam, and the developers thanked the community for its overwhelming support.
The team shared the following message with players:
«Greetings, players! Since the announcement of Subnautica 2, it has been incredible to witness all the excitement, theories, and support from the community. As Early Access gets closer, your enthusiasm continues to amaze us every single day. And now, thanks to all of you, Subnautica 2 has officially reached 5 million wishlists!»
To celebrate the milestone, the developers confirmed that every player on every platform will receive a decorative Reaper Leviathan Statue once Early Access launches. The reward will not be limited to the first launch week.
The studio also opened preloading for the game on Steam, allowing players to install it ahead of release and begin exploring on May 14 at 17:00 CEST.

In the game, players will travel to a completely new planet on behalf of the Alterra corporation. Naturally, the mission quickly goes wrong, leading to a dangerous survival adventure in a vast alien ocean.
The sequel will preserve the core gameplay elements of the original Subnautica, including exploration, base building, and expanding underwater facilities with new modules and technologies. This time, however, the game is being designed with cooperative gameplay in mind, supporting teams of two to four players.
As a Reminder, Pearl Abyss has released a new 1.06.00 patch for Crimson Desert.
