Sim racing hardware manufacturer MOZA Racing has announced an official partnership with the Gran Turismo World Series championship. The deal takes effect starting with Round 2 of the 2026 season on August 15. As part of the collaboration, the brand will gain broadcast exposure during competitions and begin development on its first peripherals compatible with PlayStation consoles.

The main goal of the partnership is to create a steering wheel that, according to Gran Turismo creator Kazunori Yamauchi, will be "optimal for Gran Turismo." Currently, MOZA wheelbases are absent from the list of officially supported hardware in Gran Turismo 7. However, the release of these devices to the market depends on final approval and licensing from Sony Interactive Entertainment. Information regarding pricing, specifications, or release dates is not yet available.

The collaboration will begin mid-season, as Round 1 of GTWS 2026 took place on May 23 in Milan. Starting August 15, MOZA logos will appear during broadcasts of tournaments in Singapore, Tokyo, and at the World Finals in December. However, MOZA hardware will not yet feature on competition rigs: Fanatec remains the series' official hardware partner, and its Gran Turismo DD Extreme setups continue to be used by players. Thus, both brands coexist within the championship at different levels of partnership.

Shenzhen-based MOZA Racing, a subsidiary of Gudsen Technology (originally known for manufacturing professional camera gimbals), entered the Direct Drive sim racing market in 2021. Thanks to an accessible pricing strategy, the brand gained significant popularity among PC gamers, but has not been represented on the PlayStation platform until now.

As a reminder: The Punisher and a New Spider-Man Will Appear in Fortnite.
