NAVI defeated Team Liquid ID 3:2 in the upper bracket final of MPL Indonesia Season 18 and secured a place in the tournament's Grand Final and a spot at the M8 World Championship. For the NAVI roster, this is their first appearance at an international championship and the team's biggest achievement since its creation.

NAVI's Historic Victory

In the upper bracket final, NAVI faced Team Liquid ID — the regular season winners. The teams played a tense series that went to the fifth map, but at the decisive moment, the Ukrainian organization proved to be stronger.

NAVI defeated Team Liquid ID 3:2 and immediately achieved two main playoff goals. The team advanced to the Grand Final of MPL Indonesia Season 18 and, at the same time, secured a place among Indonesia's representatives at the M8 World Championship.

This result has historic significance for NAVI. The team began its playoff run only from the second round and needed two consecutive victories to qualify for M8. First, NAVI defeated Alter Ego 3:1, and then overcame one of the tournament's main favorites — Team Liquid ID.

Thus, NAVI can no longer finish lower than second place in MPL Indonesia Season 18 and will wait for their opponent in the Grand Final.
