NaVi defeat FUT and advance to the ESL Pro League Season 23 final

  • In the semifinal, NaVi faced their former academy roster, now playing under the FUT Esports tag. It turned into a symbolic battle of makazze against his former teammates — launx and iM — for the title of the top Romanian in Counter-Strike. It looked like an easy match for the main NaVi roster, especially after the first map Mirage, where NaVi won with a score of 13:4.

Brazil bans players under 18 from games containing loot boxes

  • A new law called the “Digital Statute of the Child and Adolescent” in Brazil, which came into force in March 2026, has significantly affected access to popular video games. From now on, minors are prohibited from playing games that include loot box mechanics.

Ukrainian CS2 Championship receives VRS status

  • The Ukrainian Counter-Strike 2 Championship has received Valve Regional Standings (VRS) status — the official ranking system from Valve. This means that starting from the semifinal stage, match results will directly affect the regional rankings of teams. Participants will be able to earn ranking points used in qualification for major tournaments, increasing the importance of every match and opening more opportunities for Ukrainian teams.

Inner Circle officially sign headtr1ck

  • Ukrainian roster changes remain one of the most interesting topics in the local esports scene. Recently, reports appeared that former B8 Esports sniper headtr1ck, who officially left the team a few days ago, had been practicing with the new Ukrainian team Inner Circle. The organization has now confirmed the signing.

FBI looking for Steam users affected by games with hidden malware

  • Anyone who installed and played certain games between 2024 and 2026 may have become a victim of malicious actors. The FBI is asking such users to come forward to assist the investigation, guaranteeing full confidentiality. The Bureau asks victims to fill out the “Seeking Victim Information” form on its official website.
