The semifinal matches at PGL Masters Bucharest 2026 have concluded. The biggest upset of the day was Vitality’s defeat, as they lost to Nemiga 0:2. In the other semifinal, FURIA defeated MOUZ 2:1 and reached the tournament grand final.

Nemiga Stun Vitality

The first semifinal was a surprise even after Nemiga’s confident performance in the playoffs. The team faced Vitality, who had eliminated NAVI the day before and were considered one of the main title contenders before the tournament. However, Nemiga left the favorite no chance and won 2:0.

On Cache, Nemiga immediately took the initiative and led 7:1 after the opening stretch. Vitality managed to reduce the deficit to 5:7 before the side switch, but the team could not continue its comeback after the break. Nemiga won six of the nine rounds in the second half and closed its own pick with a 13:8 score.

Nemiga’s main driving force was robo, who finished the map with 24 kills. At the same time, Vitality had serious problems with their captain’s performance: mezii, who is replacing apEX, recorded only three frags on the first map.

On Dust2, Vitality started the match better. The team won the first half 8:4, while mezii got a quad kill in the final round before the side switch.

However, after the break, Nemiga gradually returned to the game. The team tied the score at 10:10, after which Vitality took the lead once again. That was the favorite’s final won round: Nemiga took the next three and finished the map 13:11.

The best player of the series was robo — 46 kills, 101 ADR, and a 1.52 rating. Even ZywOo could not save Vitality: the Frenchman finished the match with a 1.23 rating.

Thus, Nemiga reached the PGL Masters Bucharest 2026 final for the first time in the organization’s history, while Vitality unexpectedly found themselves out of the title race.

FURIA Complete a Comeback Against MOUZ

The second semifinal featured MOUZ and FURIA. It was already the teams’ third meeting during October: MOUZ had previously defeated the Brazilians twice at ESL Pro League Season 24. This time, FURIA managed to end their losing streak and secure a 2:1 victory.

The first map was Dust2, where FURIA immediately demonstrated confident play. The teams finished the first half 6:6, but after the side switch, the Brazilians completely took control of the game. FURIA won all seven rounds of the second half and closed the map 13:6.

On the second map, MOUZ managed to respond. The European team did not allow FURIA to finish the series in two maps and won 13:9, taking the match to a deciding map.

The third map was the most tense part of the series. FURIA managed to recover after losing the second map and once again took control of the game. The Brazilians secured a 13:9 victory on the deciding map and closed the series 2:1.

Thus, FURIA ended their losing streak against MOUZ and became the second finalist of PGL Masters Bucharest 2026.

Third-Place Match and Grand Final

After the semifinals, all matches for the final day of PGL Masters Bucharest 2026 were determined.

At 10:00 on October 31, Vitality and MOUZ will play the third-place match in a Bo3 format. Both teams finished the tournament one step away from the grand final and will have the opportunity to finish their run on the podium.

At 13:00, the tournament’s main match will begin — Nemiga vs FURIA in a Bo5 format. For Nemiga, this is a chance to complete their sensational run with a victory over one of the strongest lineups at the tournament, while FURIA will fight for the championship title after defeating MOUZ.

The total prize pool of PGL Masters Bucharest 2026 is $1.25 million.

As a reminder, the list of participants for the European VCT 2027: EMEA Kickoff qualification playoffs is taking shape: NAVI Junior, Joblife, and Mandatory have received direct invitations.
