Fresh rumors about a mysterious pirate-themed game from FromSoftware have appeared online. According to new 4chan leaks, the studio may release not only The Duskbloods in 2026, but also another project later this year.
The rumored title is described as a dark fantasy action RPG with a pirate setting. However, unlike Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, it supposedly will not feature an open world. Instead, the entire game is said to take place on a massive ship that has “crashed and merged” with a landmass.
The leak claims the project currently carries the codename Project FMC, while the final title may include the word “vessel.” The protagonist is reportedly called Drowned, which fans compare to FromSoftware character titles like Tarnished and Ashen One.
Some players believe the rumors because previous FromSoftware leaks turned out to be accurate, while others remain skeptical due to 4chan’s history of fake reports. The leaks also claim that Hidetaka Miyazaki is working on another “fantasy mecha” project.
