During the esports tournament EVO 2026, developers of the fighting game Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls presented a new trailer. The video showcased the fifth and final team of characters, introduced a new location, and announced the dates for the upcoming open beta test.

The final team is called Samurai Outriders, featuring Blade, Loki, and Deadpool. Each of the new fighters offers a unique combat style:

  • Blade focuses on aggressive combat and can dynamically switch between the mystical Muramasa blade, firearms, and glaives.
  • Loki operates on the opposite end of the spectrum — his gameplay is built around deception and illusions, combined with ice and magical projectiles and chaotic movement.
  • Deadpool features a fighting style heavily inspired by other popular fighting game titles, and attentive players may notice the legendary PlayStation character Polygon Man in his presentation.

The global open beta test for Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls will begin on July 24 and end on July 26. The test will be available on PlayStation 5 and PC.

The new location is Asgard — a realm of the gods situated at the top of the Nine Realms. The stage consists of five unique areas: the Observatory, the Bifrost Bridge, the Throne Room, the Treasury, and the World Tree Yggdrasil.

As a reminder, Al-Ahli signed a CS2 roster.
