Nexon will take over local publishing and operations for Blizzard Entertainment’s PC game Overwatch in the South Korean market. The companies announced the partnership on Monday, aiming to launch services later this year.

Under the agreement, Nexon will be responsible for local publishing, live service support, and marketing activities tailored specifically to the Korean market. Blizzard Entertainment will retain ownership of the Overwatch intellectual property and continue to oversee the game’s development.

The partners also plan to introduce localized content and expand the PC bang (gaming café) ecosystem to strengthen the game’s competitiveness in the country.

It is worth noting that DreamHack Birmingham will return in 2027.
