The story involving Ukrainian player nifee has gained attention following reports of possible involvement in match-fixing. According to the SHтаб CS2 channel, the cost of losing his entire career amounted to up to $8,000 — a figure that seems insignificant compared to the potential opportunities in professional esports. ESIC has already banned him from competing on the pro scene for the next four years for betting on his own matches.

In particular, it is reported that Dmytro received approximately $1,500 for each “worked” map during tournaments.

As a reminder, Ukrainian player nifee has been banned by the Esports Integrity Commission for match-fixing incidents at a Tier-1 tournament
