Organizers of the pro-Russian Games of the Future 2026 have published the list of teams that will participate in their Dota 2 tournament. The information appeared on the event’s social media pages and on Liquipedia.

Nearly all participating teams represent China, Southeast Asia, and South America. This year, the organizers also increased the prize pool to $1 million, which is believed to have influenced Nigma Galaxy’s decision to accept the invitation.

The Games of the Future festival was launched by Russian authorities in 2024 and previously held in Kazan, where the opening ceremony was attended by Vladimir Putin. This year, the event will take place in Astana, Kazakhstan. The organizer is listed as Phygital International, which avoids mentioning the 2024 edition held in Russia on its official website.
The “Games of the Future” project was first introduced in 2021 by Russia’s Ministry of Sport. The organization was overseen by Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko, with Sports Minister Oleg Matytsin also part of the organizing committee.
As a reminder, Team Vitality, T1, Team Falcons, Geekay Esports, and several other organizations previously agreed to attend the Games of the Future 2026 PUBG tournament.
