Players believe Hello Games is preparing another free update for No Man’s Sky after new cryptic teasers from studio head Sean Murray appeared online. For years, Murray has been hinting at upcoming content updates through emoji posts on social media before official announcements.
This time, Murray started posting bee emojis. He first shared a single bee, followed by three more the next day. Fans are convinced the teasers are connected to the game’s next major update, although nobody knows what the content will actually include.
Players have already begun sharing theories in the comments. One fan wrote: “Sentinels are like bees! They swarm. Are the Sentinels going to swarm us everywhere we go?” Another suggested: “We can finally turn into other species?” A different player joked: “First there was space sanitation work, then Pokémon, and now what? Gardening and pollination?”
No Man’s Sky continues to receive major updates throughout 2026, including recent expansions like Remnant and Xeno Arena. The game is also celebrating its 10th anniversary this year. Remnant і Xeno Arena, а сама гра цього року святкує своє десятиріччя.

«It’s a joy to work on something where you’ve got a community who loves it. We enjoy continuing to support the game and seeing players respond to it», — Sean Murray said.
«Who knows what the future holds for us? It’s really driven by the community and the team. If we still feel inspired and enjoy doing it, then why not keep going?», — He also added.
Alongside No Man’s Sky, Hello Games is also developing Light No Fire, a massive open-world game featuring an Earth-sized planet. However, the studio has shared very little about the project so far, as the team still appears heavily focused on supporting No Man’s Sky.
