In the Pacific region, the playoffs of VALORANT Champions Tour 2026 (VCT 2026) Pacific Stage 2, running from August 26 to September 6, are drawing to a close. The final matches are taking place at an arena in Busan, South Korea, where the region's top eight teams are competing for a $250,000 prize pool and direct spots at the main event of the year — VALORANT Champions 2026.

Nongshim RedForce and Global Esports emerged as the main victors of the qualification stage, securing their spots in the grand final and direct slots at the World Championship:

  • NS RedForce secured the first slot through the upper bracket by defeating Global Esports in the upper final with a 2:1 score (13:7 on Haven, 12:14 on Ascent, 13:6 on Abyss).
  • Global Esports claimed the second direct berth in the lower final, defeating T1 with a 3:1 score (13:5 on Split, 10:13 on Lotus, 13:5 on Ascent, 13:10 on Haven).

Based on their season performances, four teams will represent the Pacific region at VALORANT Champions 2026 (September 24 – October 18): Stage 2 finalists NS RedForce and Global Esports, alongside Paper Rex (25 points) and T1 (18 points), who qualified by leading the regional Pacific Points standings.

The tournament bracket brought plenty of surprises. Masters Toronto 2025 winners and Santiago and London event finalists Paper Rex finished only in 5th–6th place ($10,000) after losing to VARREL. Gen.G Esports also finished in 5th–6th position ($10,000), while Kiwoom DRX ended their run in 7th–8th. Regular season sensation VARREL claimed 4th place ($25,000), while T1 stopped at 3rd ($40,000).

As a reminder, Fnatic snaps multi-year streaks of international tournament appearances in League of Legends and VALORANT.
