The club Passion UA has officially registered Oleksandr Zinchenko as a substitute for IEM Atlanta 2026, which the Ukrainian organization will attend in May. At the same time, it is important to note that this is a substitute role, not a stand-in, so it is currently unclear whether Zinchenko will actually play for the team at the LAN event.
It is possible that final visa issues are still being resolved, and if one of the players is unable to attend, the footballer may be able to travel and compete in the tournament. Back in 2024, during Yalla Compass 2024, Zinchenko had already played for the club — he replaced zeRRoFIX for two maps after the latter encountered technical issues. It was an online tournament, and with Zinchenko, the team even managed to win one map, although they ultimately lost the match.
